On November 18, 2009, I returned home from the first visit with my current doctor, and that night I opened my Bible to Ezekial 37:5. I had not read the Word in some time, sitting in the pit of depression and chaos wore me down and I couldn't find the strength to pick up the only thing that could rescue me - thank God I did that night. I read, “I will put breath into you and you will live again”. I cried myself to sleep that night as that was the first time I felt any hope of healing and restoration for all areas in my life.
He has done just that... my Great BIG God has breathed life back into me, delivered me from a deep, dark depression; restored my mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being; He has resurrected my marriage into a friendship I have always longed for. I am so in love with my earthly king I could just pop! LOL!! What a blessing to be in love again, what a gift from God to experience just a fraction of the LOVE He means for us to have with Him... in the end it makes me want to pursuit HIM more because it is through Him that I even feel this way. Thank you JESUS!

Probably the most profound realization I had for myself this year was this: My love for my husband has more to do with my relationship with Christ, than it does with what my husband does for me.
For the last several years, I have attempted to have a theme for my life each year. As I prepare for 2011, heavy on my heart is humility... living in humility... walking in humility... becoming less so that He can become more, in and through my life to bring Him ALL the glory! Carrying me into this year is something Pastor Vance said during our Christmas Eve service: "Your acceptance by God is not based on your performance for JESUS it’s based on your position in JESUS. It’s not up to me to live my life in a way that honors Him, it’s up to me to simply die to myself and allow Him to live his life through me because my acceptance before God is not found in my performance, it’s found in my position... in the finished work of JESUS CHRIST in the cross!"
WOW! My prayer is that I LIVE BIG in Humility in 2011 so that everyone around me can see just how beautiful, how wonderful, how amazing, how loving and true JESUS CHRIST is. He is so desperate to be close to each and every one of us! Draw near to Him and He WILL draw near to you. (James 4:8)
